Calendar Gift Idea

Well it’s that time of the year again… Christmas time! Yes, I know here in North America we have groups that want to ban the term “Merry Christmas” and have “Happy Holiday” instead. But, I’m an Independent traditionalist who grew up where Christmas is/was a time for the coming together of Family… giving gifts… and giving thanks for another year while eating Christmas dinner on the beach and yes there was in the background the Christian element of celebrating the birth of Jesus. So folks I declare loudly MERRY CHRISTMAS ya’ll.

I write today to share my idea of giving thanks to those who are special to me and as a business thanks to customers past and future. I ordered some calendars to give away (my first time) and I’m hoping if the printing turns out right (fingers crossed) to be a good idea to keep one’s business front and center with clients. The calendar is a desktop one as opposed to the wall type measuring 5.5×10.8 inches. There are many companies out there offering this service and some offer special prices with free delivery, etc.

Because it is freezing here in North Carolina I have offered images I shot in tropical Rarotonga in the South Pacific. In my option you can write captions to help personalize the product. Of course with my images they need all the help they can get and I have taken a lighthearted approach which sums up life in WARM Rarotonga.

And BTW… it is Mango, Passion fruit, Star fruit, Banana, Avocado, and Papaya season right now in Rarotonga and everyone always says “Merry Christmas” this time of year! Anyhow just sharing an idea of calendars for your photographic business that will last all year.

So Merry Christmas everyone… see ya again when my calendar kicks in, in 2011…
