Calendar Gift Idea

Well it’s that time of the year again… Christmas time! Yes, I know here in North America we have groups that want to ban the term “Merry Christmas” and have “Happy Holiday” instead. But, I’m an Independent traditionalist who grew up where Christmas is/was a time for the coming together of Family… giving gifts… and giving thanks for another year while eating Christmas dinner on the beach and yes there was in the background the Christian element of celebrating the birth of Jesus. So folks I declare loudly MERRY CHRISTMAS ya’ll.

Thanksgiving

Thanks giving is a special time here in the USA. The busiest travel time of the year. The one time all the family gathers to break bread and catch up. Followed by black Friday the biggest shopping day of the year. So for me to be invited to a family gathering with those not directly related to me (yet) was an honor. Continue reading →
